What it does
Pepicons provides a retro icon collection inspired by the 1980s, with related Pop, Print and Pencil treatments and a Vue 3 package.
For a Vue project with a known set of controls, import the individual icons needed. The generic Pepicon component loads names dynamically, which has different bundle behavior from individually imported components. The package also deliberately avoids a global install plugin, so component origins remain explicit in each view.
Compare Pop, Print and Pencil within the same control group before mixing treatments. Those styles are one collection, not separate projects. SVG and TypeScript delivery provide routes for work outside the Vue wrapper.
Strengths
- Individual imports and dynamic loading serve different use cases.
- SVG, TypeScript and Vue delivery are documented.
Watch out for
- The Vue package supports Vue 3 only.
- Dynamic component use does not provide the same tree-shaking behavior as individual imports.
Best for
- Retro-style interface designs
- Vue 3 projects choosing explicit icon imports
