What it does
dash.js implements MPEG-DASH playback in browser environments supporting the required media extensions.
The quickstart loads dash.js, creates a MediaPlayer instance and initialises it with a video element and a DASH manifest URL. The reference player and hosted samples provide a place to compare a basic integration with more specialised playback behaviour.
Check the target browser's Media Source Extensions and Encrypted Media Extensions support before designing a protected-stream workflow. dash.js supplies playback code for your media source; the examples are not a public film library.
