What it does
Eigenmath supports symbolic algebra, calculus, matrices, numerical computation and mathematical visualization.
Eigenmath provides a compact prompt for symbolic algebra, derivatives and exact large-integer arithmetic, with command-line scripts for repeated work. Its linked graphical user guide describes running a script, then using its results in command mode; clicking result text exposes print or clipboard export. The guide requires parentheses around negative or compound exponents, since x^1/2 means a subsequent division rather than a square root. Rational arithmetic is the default; mixing in a floating value produces floating-point output, and float explicitly converts exact values. User functions have at most nine arguments and cannot be nested. draw supports an independent variable and range symbols for graph scale. These graphical controls come from the Mac-oriented guide, while the repository separately documents terminal execution.
