What it does
The hwdsl2 IPsec setup project automates a Libreswan-based server and generates client profiles, with helpers for managing users and certificates.
This project is useful when the repeating job is deploying and maintaining a small IPsec server. It automates server setup, generates device profiles and includes user and certificate-management helpers. That is a separate layer from Libreswan itself, which supplies the IPsec implementation. Start with a supported clean Linux host and read the installation choices before running an installer. The Docker image is an alternative package of the same setup family, not another independent VPN product.
