What it does
Open Iconic provides a core collection of interface symbols in SVG, sprite, webfont, PNG and WebP formats. It includes stylesheets for standalone use and older Bootstrap and Foundation integrations.
Open Iconic offers individual SVGs, a combined sprite, a webfont and fixed-size PNG or WebP images. Use an SVG as a normal image, or reference a sprite symbol such as account-login from an SVG element. CSS width and height set the size, and a fill rule colors the selected symbol.
The raster files range from 8 to 64 pixels. Font stylesheets are supplied for standalone use and for the package’s Bootstrap and Foundation examples. Keep the chosen stylesheet’s glyph naming and font paths together when integrating it.
This is a compact family of common interface actions. The code and SVG markup are free under MIT, while fonts have SIL OFL terms. Public files can be used locally without an Open Iconic account. Retain the respective notices when distributing the different formats.
