What it does
Unexpected Keyboard is an Android keyboard that places additional symbols at the corners of keys for directional swipe entry.
Swipe toward a symbol shown in a key’s corner to enter it without changing keyboard pages. Unexpected Keyboard also accepts custom layouts as XML: open Settings, add or select a layout, choose Custom layout, paste the XML and confirm it. Keep a separate XML file outside the app. The guide warns that layout work saved only inside the keyboard can be lost when switching to a build signed differently. Portrait and landscape remember their selected layouts separately, so each orientation can use a different arrangement.
