What it does

LightZone is a RAW photo editor that organizes corrections as an adjustable tool stack and can copy that stack to a batch of images.

LightZone lets you rearrange, disable and later readjust a stack of photographic corrections, or copy that stack to several images. Processing uses 16-bit linear ProPhoto RGB. Check package support before installing: the current repository lists Windows 11 x64, the three most recent major macOS releases and named Ubuntu/Fedora targets. It does not promise a package for every Linux distribution or older operating system.

Strengths

  • Revisable tool stacks
  • Copy a correction stack to multiple photos

Watch out for

  • Current packages cover a limited set of operating-system versions

Best for

  • Reusing photographic corrections across similar shots
