What it does

doggo queries DNS through traditional and encrypted transports including DoH, DoT, DoQ and DNSCrypt, with concise terminal output.

Use doggo with a domain, record type and explicit nameserver when comparing DNS answers; JSON output supports scripts, while reverse and delegation-trace modes answer different questions. It supports plain and encrypted transports including DoH, DoT, DoQ and DNSCrypt. Save repeatable defaults in TOML or environment settings, remembering that command-line flags take precedence over both. Explicit HTTP/3 mode must be paired with a persistent HTTPS nameserver. The optional Globalping route uses remote measurement locations, so distinguish it from queries originating on the local machine. This GPLv3 Go client is an independent implementation inspired by dog, with its own interface and releases.
