What it does
Numi interprets written calculations involving numbers, units, currencies and dates, with desktop and terminal options.
Numi combines written notes with calculations, unit conversion, currencies and dates. Its desktop documentation uses variables and earlier-line results to build a worksheet; copy a result, print it, or export UTF-8 plain-text .numi files. Import leaves the original file unchanged until an explicit export. Parsing conventions matter: SI prefixes are case-sensitive, data multiples use 1,000 unless kibibytes are named, trigonometric functions default to radians, and duration arithmetic treats a year as 365 days and a month as one twelfth of that. The paid activation page offers unlimited notes and iCloud sync. The terminal edition has a narrower feature set, omitting dates, time zones, sum/previous/average tokens, localisation and extensions. The repository's MIT label should not be taken as the desktop app's licence: the app has a separate restrictive EULA.
