What it does
Unicode Pad browses Unicode characters, copies composed text and shows enlarged glyphs with their code points.
Tap characters in Unicode Pad to assemble a string, then copy it to the clipboard or use its Mushroom input route. Long-press a character for an enlarged glyph and code point when similar marks need to be distinguished, and keep recurring symbols in favorites. Missing glyphs need a font that contains them; the developer points to suitable Noto choices. The Android source is published under Apache 2.0, while the official Play build is ad-supported.
Strengths
- Code-point details on a long press
- Favorites for recurring characters
Watch out for
- Missing glyphs can require a different font
Best for
