What it does
Dragit is a Linux and Windows application that discovers nearby computers and transfers files after the receiving side accepts them.
Start Dragit on both computers, wait for a discovered peer to appear, then drop a file onto its area. The receiver accepts the file, which saves to Downloads unless that location is changed. Discovery uses mDNS on the same network. Its automatic firewall check is specific to Linux firewalld and runs on first launch; it can ask permission to open missing ports. Published releases target 64-bit Linux and Windows, and Windows may need the documented VC++ runtime. The project labels the software as in development.
