What it does
DuckStation emulates the original PlayStation and offers desktop and full-screen interfaces, controller options, rendering enhancements and save states.
Supply the required BIOS image using the project’s documented process, then match its region with the game where possible. The repository warns that mismatched regions can cause compatibility problems. Start with the default configuration before adding enhancements, since some rendering changes can introduce game-specific issues.
Older x86 hardware needs a build check: the normal build expects SSE4.1, while the separate SSE2 build trades performance for older CPU support.
