What it does
SVGO is a Node.js library and command-line application for optimizing SVG files by reducing redundant data.
Use named input/output SVG files or process a directory recursively into an output directory. Configuration controls multipass and individual transformations; the default preset can be overridden, including disabling cleanupIds, while prefixIds helps separate identifiers. Check the asset in its actual embedding context when external code references its IDs or styles. Developers can pass an SVG string to optimize and use result.data. SVGO runs through Node and is MIT licensed.
