What it does
SpeedTest++ is an unofficial command-line speedtest.net client with server selection and ping, jitter, throughput and UDP-loss measurements.
Use server discovery or supply the test and quality endpoints explicitly, then choose latency, quality, download or upload measurements. SpeedTest++ reports ping, jitter, throughput and UDP packet loss; its text and verbose outputs support different terminal needs. The optional share flag creates a speedtest.net result-image URL, so use it only when that external sharing is intended. The project is an independent MIT-licensed C++ client and documents an undocumented raw TCP protocol dependency. That dependency matters for long-running automation if the upstream service changes. Building requires a modern C++ compiler, CMake, libcurl, libssl and libxml2.
