What it does

Algo VPN automates deployment of a personal WireGuard and IPsec VPN on supported cloud providers or an existing Ubuntu server.

Algo is deployment automation, so the first decision is where your server will live. Its instructions list supported cloud providers and an advanced route for an existing Ubuntu host. The scripts generate WireGuard configuration files and QR codes, plus Apple profiles for IPsec.

The deliberately narrow protocol selection is useful to understand before choosing it: Algo does not install OpenVPN, Tor or legacy protocols such as L2TP and IKEv1. Use it when those design choices match your clients, rather than expecting a general multiprotocol VPN control panel.
