What it does
Primitive FTPd is an Android FTP and SFTP server with storage-framework access, public-key authentication and controls for starting or stopping the service.
Install Primitive FTPd from its documented F-Droid or GitHub route, choose the storage access and start the server. Its main screen shows how another device’s FTP or SFTP client should connect. SFTP and public-key authentication are options, alongside anonymous login and status-bar start/stop controls. For external SD cards, the README recommends selecting a directory through Android’s Storage Access Framework: permission to an entire card root may be revoked. Android battery management can still stop background service; a wakelock is optional. The Apache-2.0 source is separate from any assumption that every build has unrestricted filesystem access.
