What it does
glFTPd is an FTP server with its own user database, virtual groups, transfer statistics, bandwidth controls and scripting hooks.
glFTPd keeps a separate virtual-user database managed through FTP site commands. Administrators can add or edit users, inspect transfer statistics and logs, and apply global or per-user bandwidth limits. Scripts can run before or after commands and uploads, including integrity checks against supplied CRC information. TLS/SSL supports encrypted FTP sessions; it does not turn the server into SFTP. The download page lists Linux and FreeBSD builds separately. glFTPd is freeware, and its non-commercial team warns that releases and responses to questions can vary, so plan server support accordingly.
