What it does
Global Fishing Watch provides public ocean-activity maps, datasets and data-availability information.
Use the map or Vessel Viewer to find the relevant ocean-activity product, then read its availability information and terms. The service combines satellite imagery, vessel GPS data and machine learning, so a displayed activity layer is a derived product. Its terms apply a non-commercial CC BY-NC default unless otherwise indicated; commercial use needs separate permission.
