What it does
Globalping provides ping, traceroute, DNS, MTR and HTTP measurements from selectable global probes through web, CLI and integration interfaces.
Choose a target and diagnostic such as ping, traceroute, DNS, MTR or HTTP, then select locations or networks and a probe limit. Globalping can match cities, countries, ASNs, providers and other location terms, making it useful for comparing remote viewpoints. Keep the selected probes with any shared result; their answers do not cover every Internet path. Credits are counted per probe, not per measurement: a measurement using five probes counts as five tests. Unregistered users get 250 free tests per hour with up to 50 probes per measurement; registered users get 500 per hour and up to 500 probes. Extra tests consume credits, with sponsor and probe-hosting routes documented separately.
Strengths
- Selectable global probe locations
- Several network diagnostic types
