What it does

GlockApps tests inbox placement and checks email authentication, domains and sending IPs. An account includes two introductory spam tests and a continuing monthly allowance of 10,000 DMARC credits. Further placement testing uses paid subscriptions or test-credit packs.

A manual test needs to be identifiable when the message reaches the seed mailboxes. In your account, open Inbox Insight > Start Spam Test > Start Manual Test, choose the providers and filters, then put the supplied unique identifier into the email content or headers before sending to the seed list. The resulting report links that message to placement by provider, spam-filter results and sending-infrastructure information.

For a newsletter that behaves differently at two mailbox providers, inspect the provider breakdown and the chain of delivering IPs before changing the entire campaign. Domain and IP reports add blocklist and authentication context. DMARC reports show which senders use your domain and whether their messages pass authentication checks. The result describes those tests; it does not establish a guaranteed placement for every subscriber.

Free registration provides two introductory spam tests and 10,000 monthly DMARC credits, plus a 14-day Uptime Monitor trial. More spam tests require paid access. Subscription credits do not roll over, and separately purchased test packs are valid for one month. Distinguish a spam-test credit from a message analysed for DMARC when estimating usage. The documented API can retrieve test and deliverability information for an existing reporting workflow.

Strengths

  • Provider placement and sending-IP details can be investigated together
  • A unique test identifier connects a sent message with its report

Watch out for

  • Spam-test credits and DMARC-message allowances measure different usage

Best for

  • Email teams investigating provider-specific placement and sending setup before a campaign
