What it does
Google Input Tools provides language and input-method switching, with a custom dictionary that remembers corrections.
In the Google Input Tools Chrome extension, add the required input tools in Options, activate one and focus a page’s text field. Transliteration maps phonetic Latin typing to target-script candidates, selected with Space, Enter, a number, arrows or the mouse. It changes writing based on pronunciation rather than translating meaning. Refresh the page if an enabled tool does not respond. The online try area provides another browser route; its language and input-method chooser is separate from installing the extension.

- Language and input-method switching
