What it does

GoTyme Bank combines a mobile account with kiosks for account opening and Visa debit-card printing. The app supports local transfers, bill and QR payments, and deposits of eligible Philippine checks. GoalSave separates savings from the daily balance and can receive scheduled deposits or rounded-up card spending.

A GoTyme kiosk connects app banking with a physical card. Customers can start in the app or use a kiosk to open an account and print a Visa debit card. The website’s Find a Kiosk route locates that service.

There are 20 free InstaPay transfers to other banks each month. Further transfers cost ₱9, with Go Rewards points available as another way to cover the fee. Transfers between GoTyme accounts are free, subject to daily limits. The app can scan QR Ph codes to send money or generate a code for receiving it.

Depositing a check from the phone

Mobile check deposits are free for eligible checks up to ₱499,999.99 each. The check must be in Philippine pesos, drawn locally and payable to the account holder. Photograph the original through the app after adding the required bank name, signature, clearing date and account number on the back.

The clearing cutoff is 3pm on banking days. Later submissions start processing on the next banking day, and available funds take at least a further business day from processing. Keep the original check for at least 360 days, as required by the account terms.

For saving, create up to five GoalSaves with names, targets and dates. Daily, weekly or monthly automatic deposits move money from the everyday account, while Save the change rounds debit-card spending into a chosen goal. GoalSave balances are separate from the debit card’s spending balance.
