What it does

gPodder aggregates podcast subscriptions and provides desktop packages for Windows, Mac and Linux/BSD environments.

Add a feed URL or import an OPML subscription list, then choose whether new episodes are listed for selection or downloaded automatically. Configure an installed external audio player in Preferences for playback; gPodder's role is managing subscriptions and downloads.

Review cleanup settings before building an archive, and mark downloaded episodes Archive when you want them excluded from automatic cleanup. OPML transfers feed subscriptions rather than episode progress. Cross-device synchronisation uses the separate gpodder.net service, whose current limits should be checked independently.
