What it does
GPSBabel converts and manipulates GPS waypoint, track, and route data across receivers and mapping applications. It also filters duplicate points and simplifies tracks.
GPSBabel converts coordinate data between devices and programs, with filtering and simplification before export. Keep waypoints, routes and tracks distinct because they can represent the same journey differently. The scope excludes maps, artwork and tiles. Its GPL software provides command-line and transfer workflows on Windows, macOS and Linux, with other POSIX systems also described.
