What it does
Gr4vy provides enterprise payment orchestration with checkout customization, provider connections, routing, fraud integrations and analytics. It also supports platforms operating multiple sub-merchants. Businesses arrange pricing and deployment with the team; a sandbox supports testing before live use.
Decide how much of checkout you want to build. Gr4vy offers a drop-in web interface, custom Secure Fields and development kits for mobile apps. These connect the customer-facing payment choice to the provider configuration behind it.
For a card-routing comparison, open or create a card rule in Flow and choose Split routing. Name the variants, give each a percentage of traffic and add its connections in the desired order. Percentages must total 100, and each variant needs a connection before saving. Saving activates the rule immediately for new transactions.
In Insights, open Authorization and compare the named variants by transaction count, volume or authorization rate. A variant appears after its first processed transaction. This gives the team a way to compare a proposed provider route against an existing one using the traffic assigned to each.
Gr4vy supplies the orchestration layer; the connected processors still determine which businesses and payment methods they accept. Its FAQ asks merchants to discuss transaction volume and commercial terms with sales, and lists excluded industries including adult content, firearms, tobacco, drugs and unlicensed gaming. Review that fit alongside the countries, provider contracts and deployment regions required for the project.
Strengths
- A platform can configure separate payment-provider and fraud rules for individual sub-merchants.
- Dedicated cloud instances can be deployed in the regions selected for the business.
Watch out for
- Split-routing comparisons support at most four variants and apply to card transactions.
- Automatic fallback stays within the selected variant; it does not move to another variant if every connection in the first one fails.
Best for
- Enterprise payment teams comparing alternative processor configurations
- Platforms giving different merchants their own payment rules
