Connect external accounts to see business money movements together, create spending categories and budgets, and schedule bills by ACH or mailed check. Grasshopper also supports virtual debit cards, user permissions and approval workflows. A misplaced card can be locked from a device while you look for it.

Innovator Business Checking includes standard ACH transfers and incoming domestic wires without a charge. The $100 opening deposit is funding for the account, not a subscription fee. Other service terms still apply. Cash deposits are available at selected MoneyPass ATMs, and photo check deposits provide another way to fund the account.

The opening sequence

1. Start the application and confirm your email with the one-time passcode.
2. Enter the business’s structure, tax ID, industry and address, plus information for owners holding 25% or more.
3. Choose an external-bank connection or enter account and routing numbers for the opening deposit.
4. Review the disclosures and submit. After approval, use the welcome email to enroll in online banking.

Applicants must be at least 18 and U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a verifiable address in the 50 states or Washington, D.C. U.S. territories are excluded, and restricted industries include virtual currency, gambling and weapons businesses.
