What it does
ImPPG applies deconvolution, unsharp masking, brightness normalization and tone curves, with repeat settings and sequence alignment.
ImPPG can apply a saved deconvolution, unsharp-mask and tone-curve setup to a sequence instead of repeating the adjustment for every frame. It also aligns translations in an image sequence, useful for a time-lapse with tracking drift. Choose the saved format for the next stage: its processing uses 32-bit floating-point arithmetic, but BMP and PNG output are 8-bit; TIFF and FITS offer higher-depth options including 32-bit float. The separate alignment output preserves the input’s channel count and bit depth. Windows executables are supplied, while other platform builds depend on the source-build requirements and libraries.
