What it does

Great Question combines participant recruitment, interviews, surveys, prototype tests and a research repository. Teams can bring their own customer list, recruit from external panels and trace findings back to recordings and quotes. AI moderation is an Enterprise add-on.

Great Question connects the recruitment work with the study and its findings. Import customers by CSV or API, filter the people you need and apply eligibility rules and contact limits before sending invitations. Interviews can use Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. For a prototype test, paste a Figma, web prototype or live-site URL and add the tasks participants should attempt.

The repository brings together recordings, highlights, tags and project summaries. Shared findings link back to the relevant quotes and sessions. Enterprise adds cross-project analysis, the MCP connection to AI assistants and methods such as card sorting, tree testing and focus groups. Its AI moderator can follow up on answers within the guide and controls the researcher sets.

Self-serve subscriptions are priced per active researcher, with a maximum of five seats and unlimited free observers. External recruitment and participant incentives cost extra; recruiting your own customers has no per-participant fee. Choose Start 14-day free trial to register without a card. The trial covers Self-serve methods, and there is no continuing free plan. Enterprise uses a custom annual agreement.

Strengths

  • Customer lists and external panels feed the same research workflow
  • Findings link to the recordings and quotes behind them
  • Observers and view-only stakeholders do not need paid seats

Watch out for

  • Self-serve is limited to five active researcher seats
  • AI moderation, card sorting and tree testing require Enterprise
  • External recruitment and participant incentives are additional costs

Best for

  • Research teams managing recruiting, studies and findings together
  • Product teams running recurring research with their own customers
