What it does

GreenArrow combines SMTP and API email delivery with Marketing Studio for campaigns, segmentation and triggered messages. Cloud plans include the delivery engine and campaign tools, starting with a 300,000-message monthly allowance. An on-premises edition is available for teams that manage their own servers.

Decide whether a suppression should affect one mailing list or all lists. GreenArrow Studio automatically deactivates addresses for bounces, unsubscribes and complaints on a per-list basis by default. An address present on another list can therefore remain active there.

Automatic Suppression Lists provide the global option. In the system configuration, the Auto Complaint, Auto Bounce and Auto Unsub settings select which global suppression list receives each type of deactivation. Use these settings when an unsubscribe, complaint or repeated bounce should stop messages across all your lists.

Cloud packages include Marketing Studio and charge for messages above the monthly allowance. GreenArrow handles the servers and sending-rate controls. With the on-premises edition, your team needs Linux administration and takes responsibility for those controls, unless you purchase help. Marketing Studio cannot be bought on its own. Start through the free demonstration or sales consultation to choose a deployment and sending volume.

Strengths

  • Separate complaint, bounce and unsubscribe settings can feed system-wide suppression lists
  • Cloud access combines delivery infrastructure with campaign tools

Watch out for

  • Default suppression is per list rather than global
  • Cloud sends beyond the plan allowance carry overage charges

Best for

  • Technical email teams coordinating delivery and suppression across multiple mailing lists
