What it does
Grilli Type publishes retail typefaces and accepts custom commissions. Its free trial fonts are for mockups and contain a reduced character set. Paid desktop, web and app licences last indefinitely, with file formats and licensing measures that depend on the intended use.
Try a family through Free Trials before buying. The trial fonts can be used in design mockups and website prototypes, including presentations to clients. They omit retail OpenType features and most of the full character set, so they are not a complete replacement for the licensed files.
Desktop licences cover computers within one organisation and supply OpenType (.otf) files, with TrueType (.ttf) available on request. Self-hosted web fonts come as TTF, WOFF and WOFF2 and are licensed by combined unique monthly visitors across the organisation’s sites. App licensing uses the number of design and development computers, not app downloads.
The fee is paid once. If a client needs to install the fonts, that client needs its own licence. Share your cart as a link lets a designer prepare the correct purchase for a client to complete.
