What it does

Growth.Design publishes comic-style UX case studies and psychology principles. Its library covers onboarding, retention, revenue, referrals and ethical design. Free signup provides case-study access, while separate Product Psychology and C.L.E.A.R. Design masterclasses provide structured paid learning.

Growth.Design uses short illustrated stories to examine decisions inside recognizable products. Filter Case Studies by topics such as Onboarding, Retention or Ethics. Each listing gives an estimated reading time and focuses on a specific experience, from trial offers to permission requests and cancellation.

For example, the Hopper story examines when location and notification prompts appear during travel planning. It separates observations from a proposed redesign and connects moments in the journey to named psychology principles. Stories use keyboard arrows for navigation, and a public text version is also available.

Free stories and paid courses

The case-study viewer invites free Google or email signup; subscribing also signs you up for future case studies. The paid Product Psychology masterclass focuses on user journeys, while C.L.E.A.R. Design focuses on interface design. The bundle page lists their individual prices as US$1,500 and US$1,200, with lifetime access and self-paced learning.

Course registration is currently closed. The site offers a waiting list and says registration will reopen on January 25, 2027. The next bundle price has not been announced.
