What it does
Groww provides Indian securities investing, direct mutual funds, company screens and portfolio tools. Fund comparisons, corporate events and a trading terminal serve different research needs. Opening and maintaining the standard demat account is free, while equity orders and other services have charges.
Stock Events groups dividends, bonuses and buybacks, while Stock Screener filters company measures. For funds, Compare Funds and Track Funds support comparison and importing existing investments. The trading terminal brings charts, positions and watchlists together for closer market monitoring.
Standard equity orders are charged 0.1% of their value, capped at ₹20 and subject to a ₹5 minimum per executed order. Taxes, exchange fees and applicable depository charges are additional. The pricing page separately lists different rates for NRI accounts and UPI Mandate balance orders.
Online registration uses PAN, Aadhaar verification and bank linking. Applicants can open an individual account from age 18. Groww also has an NRI route using an NRO bank account, with separate eligibility and documents; that route excludes margin funding and commodities. Choose the appropriate account route before comparing product access.
