What it does
Guitar Pro edits tablature and scores and provides tempo controls, looping and instrument playback.
Write parts in Guitar Pro’s desktop tablature and score editor, then loop a section or adjust tempo for practice. Virtual instruments and backing-track tools let you hear the arrangement. The Windows/Mac editor, mobile app and mySongBook score access are separate products; check the licence and file/export needs for the route you choose.
Strengths
- Multitrack tablature editing
- Tempo and loop practice tools
Watch out for
- mySongBook access is separate from the editor
Best for
- Guitarists writing parts and practising arrangements
