What it does
Haikei generates abstract backgrounds from waves, blobs, peaks, grids and other configurable shapes. Choose a canvas size and colours, vary the composition and download SVG or PNG for another design tool. Its available Basic plan is free and requires no account.
A banner and a portrait cover need different arrangements. Haikei lets you choose the format before adjusting a generator, then use the dice button to produce another composition with those settings. SVG output can continue into a vector editor; PNG provides a fixed image for a page or slide.
What the free plan includes
Basic offers 15 generators, unlimited SVG downloads and medium-resolution PNG output. The pricing page still presents Pro as forthcoming, so its high-resolution PNG and extra-generator promises are not part of the available plan.
Personal and commercial projects, including client work, are permitted without a credit requirement. The designs cannot be used to provide a competing generator service.
