What it does
EditReady transcodes and rewraps camera footage into editing formats on Mac. It supports RAW workflows, metadata editing, LUT previews, overlays, custom presets, and ALE metadata export.
Add clips by opening or dragging them into EditReady, select a preset and destination, then convert all clips or only flagged ones. Separate windows queue batches with different settings. ProRes, DNxHD/DNxHR, H.264 and H.265 outputs suit editing proxies and mezzanine media; metadata editing, ALE export and overlays help retain clip context. Additional options can reproduce source folders and resize with padding, stretching or preserved aspect ratio. Framerate adjustment changes playback speed without adding or dropping frames and is unavailable in passthrough mode. The Mac trial converts the first minute of clips; a perpetual licence includes one year of updates. URL automation requires Pro, with API support from 22.4 and scripting from 25.4; Server is a separate CLI offering.
