What it does

WiFiman provides device discovery and connection testing, with mobile signal monitoring and additional functions for supported UniFi gateways.

Use the mobile Speed tab for upload and download measurements on the connected Wi-Fi or cellular path. The Signal tab adds signal strength, throughput, latency and roaming views when a UniFi Gateway is present; floorplan mapping also needs a LiDAR-equipped device. Discovery lists device IP addresses and identifying information on the local network. The desktop version is more limited: Ubiquiti documents only UniFi Device Discovery and Teleport VPN there. Teleport requires a UniFi Gateway and an authorized invitation, with access that can be revoked. The downloads are free, but the documented gateway and hardware requirements still apply. Match the platform and measurement path when comparing observations.
