What it does
Herzberg Design Co publishes original retail typefaces and custom lettering. Its catalog includes Arny, Arny Sans, Mancine, Thanatos and other families.
Arny's specimen is useful when a revival-style headline needs more control than its first impression suggests. Compare Original Letterforms with simplified V, X and Y, then inspect contextual alternates, case-sensitive punctuation and fraction handling. The family has seven weights plus a variable font, with Latin Plus and Vietnamese support. Its simpler Arny Sans companion creates a different texture from the same starting point.
The Trials section offers complete character sets and all features for evaluation, mockups and client pitches. When the design is ready to proceed, buy the Universal Font License. Its overview describes global perpetual coverage priced by the approximate number of people working for the organization, with no need to track page views or desktop installations.
For a client project, purchase in the client's name; your work on that client's behalf is covered too. A PDF specimen is linked from the family page for a closer look away from the browser.
