What it does
HEY combines hosted email and calendars with a first-sender screening workflow and tracking-pixel blocking. Personal, family and custom-domain offers are editions of the same service.
HEY asks a practical question before a new sender enters the inbox: do you want to hear from them? Its Screener can accept or reject that sender, while receipts and other transactional mail have a separate Paper Trail. That changes the organization of incoming mail rather than simply adding another spam folder.
The provider also documents blocking tracking pixels and identifying detected trackers. Treat that as its stated protection, not a measured catch rate. Personal accounts and custom-domain plans use different billing arrangements; both belong to the same hosted service, with its own apps and workflows.
Strengths
- First-time sender screening gives direct control over incoming correspondence.
- Tracking-pixel blocking and detected-tracker identification are documented.
- Personal and custom-domain plans are available.
Best for
- People willing to adopt a different inbox workflow to control senders and tracking
