Use the encrypted tunnel when protecting the network connection is the goal, rather than assuming the DNS product provides the same protection. HideIPVPN's privacy notice lists support messages, invoices, transactions and information needed to log into VPN or SmartDNS. It permits some retention after account closure for legal, reporting and support needs, alongside a general three-month deletion statement. The notice does not spell out VPN connection-log categories, so a general no-log homepage label should not be expanded into a precise retention promise.
