What it does
ImBatch is a Windows image processor with reusable task sequences for crop, resize, rotation, metadata changes and format conversion.
Add images or folders, decide whether to include subfolders, and arrange enabled tasks in processing order. Put a Save-type task last: the guide's example resizes then saves PNG. Without a final Save task, processed images overwrite their originals, with a warning before starting. Save the sequence as a .bsv file for Explorer or command-line reuse. Personal use is free; commercial work needs a licence. Task-list undo/redo should not be treated as recovery of processed originals.
Strengths
- Ordered tasks with per-step controls
- Reusable .bsv task sets with Explorer and command-line access
Watch out for
- A sequence without a final active Save-type task overwrites original image files.
Best for
- Assembling a repeatable batch image process
