What it does

Homerun combines an applicant-tracking system with HR tools for employee profiles, absence, documents and team information. Its hiring side includes career and job pages, candidate progress, feedback and interview coordination.

Homerun keeps recruitment and everyday employee administration in the same product family. Use candidate profiles and team feedback during hiring, then maintain employee information, absence and documents through the HR tools.

To give interviewers a common structure, open a vacancy from Your jobs or Jobs, select its settings gear and find Hiring stages. Choose the stage, then insert an event template or scorecard template. This ties the meeting and feedback format to the relevant step rather than leaving colleagues to recreate them for each applicant.

Capacity and commitment

A job slot covers an active vacancy, including one that is private, paused or closed. Drafts and archived jobs do not consume a slot. Employee-profile seats are a separate allowance. Core and Plus have a yearly commitment, even when payments are monthly; give at least 30 days' notice before renewal to end the next annual term.

Sign up with work email and an activation link, or use a company Google or Microsoft account. The advertised trial lasts 15 days and accepts up to 100 candidates. Standard trial access uses demonstration emails rather than sending real candidate messages; custom domains and bulk candidate uploads are also restricted.

Strengths

  • Hiring stages can carry reusable interview-event and scorecard templates.
  • Combines recruiting with employee profiles, absence and document management.

Watch out for

  • Paused and closed vacancies still use job slots until archived.
  • Annual plans retain a yearly commitment, and standard trial access does not send real candidate emails.

Best for

  • Small teams organizing overlapping vacancies and maintaining employee records after hiring
