What it does
Hootsuite combines social scheduling, analytics, listening and message handling. Teams can plan content in a calendar, bulk schedule posts, route conversations and review brand or competitor discussions. Paid subscriptions are priced per user and offer a 14-day trial without a card.
A Hootsuite campaign can generate comments and private messages across several accounts. Its shared inbox brings those conversations together; Advanced adds assignments and automatic routing so a question reaches the right colleague.
After creating an account with email or a supported social login, connect the social accounts you manage and grant their permissions. In Create, choose Create from scratch, select the destination accounts and add the post's text and media. The preview shows each version before you publish, save a draft or schedule it. Plan provides list, weekly and monthly views for reviewing scheduled content.
Subscriptions are charged per user, with these main differences:
| Plan | Social accounts | Main addition |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 10 | Scheduling, shared inbox and monitoring |
| Professional | Unlimited | Inbox automation and custom reports |
| Advanced | Unlimited | Content approvals, message routing and team reports |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Custom terms, advanced analytics and single sign-on |
Hootsuite's two-week evaluation neither requests a card nor starts automatic charges. Continuing afterward requires choosing a paid plan and entering payment details. Trial accounts allow 10 to 20 daily posts per organization, depending on plan, and cannot bulk schedule. That limit matters if you want to rehearse a large campaign upload.
