What it does
HTML Color Codes brings together a colour picker, image sampling, a wheel and reference charts. It covers hexadecimal codes and RGB, HSL, HSV and OKLCH colour values, with explanations of tints, shades and tones.
Enter an existing colour code in the picker, or drag within its colour space to explore alternatives. The picker produces related harmonies and lighter or darker variations, with values you can carry into a design.
For artwork that already exists, open Image Color Picker and upload the image. It extracts a palette and exports colour values in hex, RGB, HSL and OKLCH.
The charts provide another starting point: Tailwind, Material Design, flat-design and web-safe colours are collected separately. A named-colour reference groups CSS colour names for lookup. These tools cover both a known brand value and colours taken from a photograph.
Strengths
