What it does
Humbleicons is a compact collection of simple SVG icons for web interfaces. Its categories cover controls, communication, layout and other everyday actions, and the artwork is free under MIT.
Open a symbol’s page to copy its inline SVG into HTML. The Activity page, for example, supplies the complete vector markup and a second example that references the activity symbol inside humbleicons.svg. That shared sprite lets several icons use one file.
You can obtain the collection through npm i humbleicons or use the sprite linked from an icon page. The examples use currentColor so strokes follow the surrounding text color. The repository recommends a shared humbleicons class for width, height and alignment.
The catalogue has useful distinctions such as missed, incoming and outgoing calls, plus separate spinner shapes. MIT permits commercial use, changes and redistribution, provided its copyright and permission notice accompany distributed copies.
Strengths
- Individual pages give both inline and sprite markup.
- Its MIT licence permits adapting and redistributing the icons.
Best for
- Small web products with neutral interface controls.
- Editors and dashboards using reusable SVG symbols.
