What it does

Hyvor Talk adds comments, reactions and ratings to websites, with moderation by page and reader. Paid plans include monthly usage credits and a 14-day trial without a card. Publishers create a HYVOR account to set up the site and manage its comment embed.

In Console > Comments, filter contributions by status, reader flags, page, user, links or unanswered replies, then publish, delete or mark them as spam. A featured top-level comment stays above the discussion; replies cannot be featured. For closer review of one article, open Pages > the page > Pre-Moderation.

Guest moderation uses IP controls. HYVOR and single sign-on accounts have user-level moderation, including trusted or banned status. Hyvor says it does not share HYVOR users' email addresses with site moderators.

Plans and usage

Plan Starting price Sites Moderators Monthly credits
Personal EUR 50/year 1 1 2,500
Premium EUR 12/month 10 Unlimited 100,000
Business EUR 40/month 50 Unlimited 250,000

Higher credit allowances change the price. Business adds user single sign-on, custom-domain email and branding removal; Enterprise is quoted separately. The 14-day trial excludes custom-domain email.

Credits cover embed loads, comment counts, API requests and some spam checks. Exceeding embed allowances for two consecutive months temporarily disables embeds until the next allowance or an upgrade.

To begin, sign into the Console and create a website. Use its website ID from Settings > Website in the installation snippet for your site's platform.

Strengths

  • Individual pages can require approval before comments appear
  • Moderation filters identify flagged, linked and unanswered comments

Watch out for

  • Repeated credit overages can temporarily disable embeds
  • HYVOR users' email addresses are not available to site moderators

Best for

  • Publishers managing embedded website discussions with selective review and defined usage capacity
