What it does
IANA's Top-Level Domain Registry lists DNS top-level domains with status, type, writing system and delegated manager information.
Search or filter the registry by status, type and writing system to find a top-level domain’s manager or purpose. Choose the download that fits the task: registry JSON includes delegated, retired and special-use names with status and technical details where applicable, while the plain ASCII list contains currently delegated TLDs. The related root-zone and root-hints files serve different DNS configuration needs. A downloaded copy is a snapshot until refreshed. This is IANA’s root-level delegation reference; use the relevant registry or registrar service for registration information about an individual domain beneath the TLD.
