What it does
ICICI Direct provides Indian stocks, funds, IPOs and fixed-income investments with research and account tools. Its three-in-one arrangement links savings, trading and demat accounts, allowing investment funds to come directly from an ICICI Bank savings account. Brokerage depends on the selected plan and instrument.
Understand the linked-account arrangement
The three-in-one account connects the bank balance with securities investing, avoiding a separate transfer for each allocation. Stock SIPs, baskets and company screens support different investment approaches. The bank linkage is separate from the brokerage plan.
What iVALUE changes
iVALUE has a ₹299 one-time subscription charge. Futures and options brokerage is ₹20 per order; equity intraday is the lower of ₹20 or 0.05% per order. Active subscribers have annual demat maintenance of ₹300 plus GST. Taxes and other transaction charges are additional.
Delivery brokerage continues under the existing delivery plan. Prime plans address delivery rates and financing terms, and can be combined with iVALUE. In an existing account, the published route is Settings > ICICI Direct iValue Plan > Subscribe.
New applicants verify contact details, provide PAN and bank information, choose trading preferences and a plan, then complete e-signing and identity verification. Futures and options activation requires financial proof.
