What it does
ICI TOU.TV presents French-language series, programmes, films and documentaries, with live and catch-up sections and an EXTRA-labelled selection.
Read the viewing label on the series or episode: EXTRA-labelled programmes need a different entitlement from the free offer. Free viewing carries advertising. EXTRA supplied through TELUS or Koodo also has advertising, while direct credit-card EXTRA subscriptions are generally ad-free with exceptions. Sign into the account holding that benefit before comparing what you can play.
The service is limited to Canada under its distribution agreements; an EXTRA membership does not make it an overseas viewing option. Live, youth, documentary and short-film sections give it several browsing routes beyond broadcaster catch-up.
Strengths
- Title-level EXTRA labels identify a different viewing entitlement.
Watch out for
- Content is accessible only in Canada.
- Provider-supplied EXTRA through TELUS/Koodo includes advertising.
