What it does
Iconbuddy searches independently authored icon collections and offers design-tool plugins, saved icons and team-library features.
Iconbuddy brings many independently authored SVG collections into one search interface. Start with a keyword or collection, then compare the available drawing families. It is useful for discovering a suitable set before settling on a consistent group of icons for a product.
Free search is limited. Pro removes the search limit, adds unlimited saved icons and opens its Figma, VS Code, Framer, WordPress and browser integrations. Monthly, annual and one-time lifetime plans are offered. Team access adds a shared library and export presets, with a minimum of three seats.
Payment can be made as a guest, but Pro activation is linked to an account using the same email address. The service curates artwork from different authors, so keep track of the selected collection's license rather than treating a paid search plan as a new license for every icon. The author is identified on collection pages.
Strengths
- One search interface covers multiple independently authored collections.
- Plugins and team libraries support repeated selection workflows.
Watch out for
- Underlying artwork licenses still differ by collection.
Best for
- Teams discovering and sharing icon choices across tools
