What it does
Moose by Icons8 provides studio stock photography in consistent sets, including people, objects, backgrounds and transparent PNG cutouts. Free low-resolution JPGs sit alongside paid large PNG and PSD downloads.
The category list lets you narrow people photographs by emotions, clothing or occupation, as well as broader subjects such as healthcare and technology. Coordinated sets are useful when several pages need the same lighting and visual style.
The photo subscription includes 50 downloads per month, with additional downloads charged separately. Unused allowances carry over while the subscription stays active; cancelling ends that carry-over after the billing period, while downloaded assets remain usable under their licence. Individual photo purchases are also available.
Free images require a visible Icons8 credit or link. For a website, the linking guide asks for a link on each page containing an asset, or a footer link when it appears throughout the site. Free editing rights are narrower than paid rights: the agreement permits modifications through Icons8 tools but otherwise restricts derivatives. Paid advertising, merchandise and template uses require separate written permission.

- A subscription carries unused downloads forward while it remains active.
Watch out for

- Paid advertising and merchandise require additional permission.
Best for
